Precautionary Statements

• Precautionary Statements - General: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read label before use. Precautionary Statements - Prevention: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Avoid release to the environment. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Take action to prevent static discharges. Precautionary Statements - Response: Get Medical advice/attention if you feel unwell. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water. Specific treatment (see section 4 on this SDS). If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing. And wash it before reuse. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. Collect spillage. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. In case of fire: Use CO2, dry chemical, or foam to extinguish. Precautionary Statements - Storage: Store locked up. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Precautionary Statements - Disposal: Dispose of contents to an approved waste disposal plant or paint recycling center. Under RCRA, it is the responsibility of the user of the product to determine at the time of disposal, whether the product meets RCRA criteria for hazardous waste. Waste management should be in full compliance with federal, state and local laws.
